Mayhem Paintball & Airsoft London is a UKARA-registered site, so you can certainly get your UKARA registration through them!
The process is set by the UK Airsoft Retailers Association (UKARA) to provide a legal defence for purchasing Realistic Imitation Firearms (RIFs) in the UK.
Here are the steps you generally need to follow:
Be the Right Age: You must be 18 years old or over.
Meet the Play Requirement: You must attend and play at least 3 airsoft skirmish games at the same UKARA-registered site (in this case, Mayhem London/Essex) over a period of no less than 56 days (approx. 2 months).
Example: If you play your first game on January 1st, your third qualifying game must be on or after February 26th.
Get the Form: Obtain a UKARA application form from Mayhem's staff. It's best to ask for the form on your first day so staff can sign it on each date you play.
Provide ID: Once you've completed the 3 games over the 56+ day period, you'll need to provide the site with two forms of ID:
One Photo ID (e.g., Passport or Driving Licence)
One Proof of Address (e.g., recent utility bill or bank statement)
Validation: Mayhem's staff will validate your completed form, confirming your game attendance and ID.
Receive Your Number: The site will then submit your details, and once processed by UKARA, you will be issued your unique UKARA registration number.
This number acts as your legal "defence" to buy realistic (non-two-tone) airsoft guns from any UKARA-registered retailer.
Top Tip: Always talk to the staff at the registration or sign-in desk on your game days to ensure they log your attendance correctly or stamp your form!
